Circuit Breakers / Protection Relays
Circuit Breakers
Circuit breakers are used to protect equipment from overcurrent situations caused, for example, by short circuits or ground faults in or near such equipment. Electrical power distribution systems and their components need protection from numerous types of malfunctions, including overcurrent conditions, overvoltage conditions, undervoltage conditions, reverse current flow, and unbalanced phase voltages.
Alot of the Air Circuit Breakers and the Oil Circuit Breakers installed between the 60’s and 80’s are now beginning to show their age. Regular servicing and maintenance of the Circuit Breakers are mandatory in order to prolong the life span of the Circuit Breakers. Bremco Electrical are specialists in the servicing and maintenance of circuit breakers. The Director and Leading Technician has over 30 years experience in the servicing of Circuit Breakers.
It is recommended that Preventative Maintenance be established with each client therefore eliminating the breakdowns and the loss of time and money when emergency shut downs need to occur inorder to service a faulty Circuit Breaker & Protection Relays. Bremco Electrical can offer each of their clients a Preventative Maintenance schedule which will allow us to stay on top of any issues thus giving our client the piece of mind.
